Career Center and Mount Tabor High School Junior Keeghan Davis Wins 2024 Safe Sober T-Shirt Contest
The Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based nonprofit Safe Sober is pleased to announce that Keeghan Davis, a junior at Career Center High and Mount Tabor High, has won the 2024 Safe Sober T-Shirt Design Contest.
The design was unveiled at a surprise presentation, and Keeghan was presented with the first shirt off the press framed for display. In recognition of her achievement, Keeghan was awarded a $1,000 scholarship, with an additional $1,000 grant to her digital media arts teacher, Mark Underwood, to invest in his class.
Honored guests joining attorneys David Daggett and Griff Shuler included the Mayor of Winston-Salem Allen Joines, Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough, Mount Tabor principal Donald Wyatt, Career Center Assistant Principals Yu’Vonne James and Brian Lee, and Keeghan’s parents.
