A host has a responsibility. If they knew or should have known that a guest had too much to drink and is driving and that guest goes out and causes harm to some unknown third person, the host can be responsible
Hosting holiday parties. As a host, remember you can be responsible or liable if you knew, or should have known, that one of your guests was impaired and you provided them with alcohol and they leave and cause a tragedy somewhere. You can be responsible as the host.

Likewise in North Carolina over the past 12 months there have been 12 deaths and 47 serious injuries from drivers violating school bus passing laws.
