Spotlight With David Daggett: Safe Sober Teen Center Opens
I’ve had the privilege of working with the Triad’s young people over the past few decades through many different programs, from Big Brothers Big Sisters to coaching wrestling and more, including the Daggett Shuler Safe Sober Program. While we all know young people are our future, some of them really need our help. All of them need our support and encouragement. Yes, the best way to a great future to is focus on our youth, now! Let’s get started!
Our Safe Sober program has launched into a new era designed to have an even bigger, longer-lasting impact on the young people of the Triad. Of course, we have been an institution in the community for more than three decades! Over the years, the Safe Sober program has reached more than 600,000 students across the Triad and with this new program, we aim to reach even more!
Now in our 34th year of the Safe Sober program, we have embarked on a bright new chapter of deeply impacting our young people through mentorship, positive peer pressure, and the Safe Sober message. A lasting, meaningful chapter with a 10-year agreement.
