On Saturday, August 15th, attorney David Daggett of Daggett Shuler Law appeared on Triad Today with special guest Dr. McNeil Cronin, board member of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem (DSAGWS). They discussed the upcoming Buddy Walk, one of the DSAGWS’s most exciting and biggest events of the year.

The mission of the DSAGWS is to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the Triad community. They achieve this through a full schedule of educational and social events, including the Buddy Walk.

Now in its 20th year, the Buddy Walk will be held on Saturday, September 26th. Unlike previous years, this year, the race is going virtual. Instead of having the race take place in one location, teams are encouraged to “walk across Winston-Salem” in their own way, be it a walk in a park or neighborhood, a socially distanced event, or a fully virtual celebration. David Daggett and Dr. Cronin will be hosting a Facebook Live event starting at 9am on race day, with guests, special interviews, and more.
