Navigation Federal Court Rejects San Diego Attorney's Attempt to Trademark ‘US Space Force'
The appellate court said Thomas Foster’s appeal differed from a 2021 ruling in Piano Factory Group v. Schiedmayer Celesta GmbH, which held that facts being considered were dated to the time the mark was registered. Foster’s case differs, it said, because it involves a refusal to register.
